Our Lady Of The Snows Uniform Policy
Parents at our school like and request a uniform to be worn. Children are expected to wear correct school uniform at all times and attention must be paid to cleanliness and neatness. Boys and Girls Wear the Navy Soft Shell School Logo Jacket all year round.

• Grey drill shorts / grey winter weight shorts
• Red polo shirt with OLS Logo
• Grey  Jersey 
• Plain black trousers (no stripes, decorative patches or writing) may be worn during the winter  terms
• Yr 7/8 boys have the option of long grey trousers for winter
• Grey socks
• Black or brown  shoes
  

(Sandals may be worn in summer)
Summer

• Blue/White checked skorts worn with red shirt
• Black or brown sandals/shoes
• White socks
• Navy blue cardigan, jersey or sweatshirt
  

Winter

• Mackenzie tartan pinafore or Mackenzie tartan skirt (available from The Warehouse Ashburton from size 8 upwards)
• Year 7 and 8 girls have the option of wearing a Mackenzie tartan kilt instead of the pinafore
  
• Red long sleeve polo shirt with OLS Logo
• Navy blue cardigan, sweatshirt or jersey
• Navy socks or tights 
• Black or brown shoes
  

N.B.  Boys and Girls – no sports shoes or any other shoes except for sporting activities)

• Plain Black shorts
• Red OLS Sports Polo with Logo
  

The OLS red polo shirts, hats and soft shell jackets are available from the school office.  Some second hand uniforms are also available – please ask at the office. Yr 7 and 8 girls have the option of  wearing a Mackenzie tartan skirt in the winter.

During summer months our policy is that all children will be encouraged to wear sunhats .   Our Lady of the Snows School bucket hats can be purchased from school.
